Keith, Director of Fundraising

Hello everyone, my name is Mr. Hooch. I had a pretty rough beginning to my life with being chained up outside as a puppy, in and out of the shelter for 4 years, and being attacked twice by other dogs (neither was a pit bull!……take that stereotypes!). I used to spend the majority of my days chewing away at a rawhide bone in the shelter (my favorite!!). And then one day my dad, Keith, rescued me. It was a pretty big learning experience for the both of us, but all the hard work and training paid off for both of us. Now I spend my days relaxing at the house, going for walks, playing fetch, and riding in a truck. Dad was pretty happy it paid off too because he finally didn’t have to worry about his couch cushions anymore. It just goes to show you how wonderful my brothers and sisters can be! In fact my dad was saying just the other day that I was one of the best decisions he had made in his life….then he gave me a rawhide treat!! So enjoy poking around on the site and hopefully you will be kind enough to help out my breed so that people can know us for the loving, loyal, friendly dogs that we are. See ya soon!

I have grown up with animals all of my life and now I am in a position to give back in a variety of ways. I volunteer with the MSPCA as well as with Pittielove Rescue and I enjoy being with animals and helping them find the better lives that they deserve so much. So often, many of these animals are neglected or stereotyped. Part of what I hope to accomplish through helping these organizations is the education of society about how wonderful these animals really are.
