Bubba is the third Staffordshire Terrier in our lives. The first, O.C., lived for many years with our daughter in the Lower East Side of
Manhattan. She played at Thompson Park on A and 7^th . The second, Cutie, a six month old beauty, was left chained over night to a fence
at Pet Supplies and More in Fitchburg with a note saying “Please take me home. I don’t bite and I like kids.” Jennifer and I did as Cutie
had asked. She was a wonderful gentle dog albeit a bit bossy over our two Brittanies. She felt it was her job to keep those two headstrong boy
dogs in line. Last June for the first time in twenty years we were without a dog. I am retired and spend much time home alone. The sudden isolation hit me
hard. I wanted another dog. The Fitchburg dog officer recommended PittieLoveRescue. On July 1st PittieLove Rescue invited Jennifer and I to Mary’s
house to meet two puppies that she and her family were fostering, Ping and Pong. Mary then told us about Pogo. The morning of July 3^rd we visited Pogo and decided that he is the dog for us.

After our home visit we brought Pogo home and renamed him Bubba. What lucky folks we are. Bubba is curious but not antagonistic toward
our cat. He was initially insecure and quite hesitant, but now is living the puppy-hood that he evidently missed. In four weeks he gained twelve
pounds. His ribs and backbone are no longer obvious under his fur. Every now and then he has crazies, like a cat. Inside or outside Bubba runs
as fast as possible, turns around so hard as to loose his footing, then runs back. I step out of the way. At seventy pounds Bubba is a
formidable flying object. After such puppy-ness his greatest desire is to fall asleep with his head on my lap.

It feels good. Thank you PittieLove Rescue!!
