Shanti is doing wonderfully...somebody stopped me yesterday at Fresh Pond and said, she is the perfect dog...and she certainly is... She is beautiful...stunning actually, sweet, loving, exuberant, friendly...she feels it is her duty to greet every single person, dog, squirrel at Fresh Pond or where ever she happens to be and she is smart...passed puppy kindergarten with flying colors and continues to learn and practice her harder tasks like refraining from eating my new shoes which smell like rawhide. :) We have a routine that works for both of us. I was lucky to find a dog walker that takes Shanti out in Lexington to run three times a day. She is just discovering the joys of fetching and has made several friends who she adores, my sister's Labradoodle Tonga and Augie, a friend's terrier mix....they walk and play together when they can. You can see in pictures that Shanti is a real sun worshipper...during the day she will go to any cramped corner she can find, as long as it has a bit of sun streaming onto it.
