Happy New Beginnings

Sammy Bubba came to us via a local cities animal control. He was actually housed at a vet clinic where the entire staff fell in love with him. Noreen was contacted by The President of Save A Dog, Shirley Moore. She asked for our assistance in evaluating Bubba. Shirley and Noreen evaluated Bubba and both instantly in love with him. Passed his temperment test with flying colors. However, we had no foster home open. We decided to list him for adoption on both of our websites as "urgent". Noreen contacted Kelly who works at our rescue's vet. Kelly has extensive Pit Bull experience and she and her boyfriend Matt agreed to foster Bubba. We received an excellent application from Save A Dog for Bubba. Thanks Save A Dog! And thanks so much to Kelly and Matt for fostering and taking such good care of  Bubba. Matt and Kelly miss Bubba terribly but I keep telling them that another Bubba is waiting for them to foster right aroud the corner. :)

Penny Little Babar was rescued from a city pound and fostered by Noreen. He was and will always be very dear to Noreen's heart. He was one sick pup, nursed backed to health, despite the tremendous odds against him. At almost three years old, he is a true breed ambassador.

Penny Lolli and her brother , Pop were dumped on opposite ends of a local city.Lolli was found on the side of the road and Pop was found on someone's porch. When first rescued, Lolli weighed only 5 lbs, her brother, Pop, 2 lbs. Both were estimated to be around 5 weeks old. We were contacted by animal control and immediately went to get these two babies. They were fostered by Dave, who adopted our seven year old Harry last year.

Chloe her brother Liam and sister Shannon (now Shanti) were rescued and fostered by PLR. They came to us from a MA backyard breeder. They were in pretty rough shape as a result of poor nutrition. They had puppies that the could not "sell" and asked for our help. That's the beginning and here is Chloe's Happy New Beginning! We are very proud of our Chole. She just graduated from puppy kindergarden and is so very lucky to have found such a wonderful forever home.
