Champ came to us from our friend and fellow rescuer, Leigh
Grady the Director of the Animal Shelter of Sterling. She was fostered by
Jen and her family. Jen and her husband have a rescued pit bull, a rescued
mixed breed and a young son.
Champ was a popular little guy. We had so many good applications for him.
The Tracy family won our hearts and his.
As you can see, he lives riding in his Daddy's Corvette and taking care
of his senior sister.
Another very lucky boy!

Bella was found as a stray in MA. She was fostered by her animal control officer and fellow rescuer.
Twinkie was at another shelter, scheduled to be put to sleep because of his hip fracture. The shelter could not affford the surgery. A shelter worker fell in love with him, arranged to have his surgery donated (thank you Northborough VCA!!!!) and then contacted us. Our Adoption Coordinator, Mary and her family fostered Twinkie.

Lola and her sister, Puddin came to us from a local city. The family accidentely had a litter of puppies and the father in the family wanted the puppies gone at 3 weeks of age. We were able to convince them to keep the pups with the Momma until 8 weeks of age. Ater 6 weeks, they came into our rescue. The other pups in the litter, we were to take five, were sold. :(

Cheeka was a MA owner surrender.
Why??
The neighbors hated her for NO reason.... other than her breed.
The family was being harrassed so much that they were afraid to even let her outside.
No life for such a good girl!!
Cheeka lived happily for two years with her first family with two little dogs, her Mom and Dad and children...who loved her.
She is one lucky girl to have been given a second chance...

Pop and his sister, Lolli were dumped on opposite ends of a local city. Pop was found on someone's porch and Lolli was found on the side of the road. When first rescued, Pop weighed only 2 lbs, his sister, Lolli, 5 lbs. Both were estimated to be around 5 weeks old. We were contacted by animal control and immediately went to get these two babies. They were fostered by Dave, who adopted our seven year old Harry last year.

Bubba(Pogo) was found running loose in West Newbury, MA by a good samaritan named Nancy. Nancy stopped her car, called animal control and waited over an hour for them to show up. In that time she feel in love with Bubba. She paid for his boarding after his 10 days at animal control were up, paid all his vet expenses(including neuter) and contacted PittieLove Rescue about finding him a new home. PittieLove evaluated this boy and fell in love! We were able to find a wonderful foster home for him with a family who adopted a pit bll from us last summer.
