Hank now Tommy!
Noreen was called by a caring woman who's co-worker showed up with little Tommy in a cardboard box.
She brought the little pup over for us to meet and there was no question that Tommy deserved a second chance.
Tommy was fostered by PLR's VP, Mary and her two young daughters, Veronica and Ava.
When we first inquired about Tommy (then Hank) we were told there were many other applications on him. I thought there was no chance that we would meet him. After talking to Mary a few time on the phone, she brought him over to meet us. We were so excited that PittieLove Rescue chose us to be Tommy's forever home! Our last pit bull Moo-Moo pasted away 4 years ago and I have never got over losing him. When Mary brought Tommy to meet us, it was love at first site. Tommy turned out to be a very easy puppy, loves every one, and other dogs. He just finished two training courses and he will be working on getting his Canine Good Citizen this fall. When we adopted Tommy he weighed 11.5 lbs. Today he is close to 40lbs and growing.
Thank you all at PittieLove Rescue, we just love him

Hi Mary and Noreen,
Can you believe it? I adopted Tommy from PittieLove Rescue a little over a year ago, in the fall of 2006.
Tommy is a great dog! He did well in training classes and got his CGC (Canine Good Citizen) at 10 months old. We are hoping to get his therapy dog title as soon as we can find a class. Iin the past year he has grown to be a big dog. He now weighs 60 lbs. He does great with our cats, his best friend our 12 year old cat Buffy. We would have never thought she would love him, but they lay together and groom each other too. Tommy just went for his first adult vet visit. The vet said he looked great, and Tommy was a good boy. I could not have asked for better friend .
We just love him.
