What began as an over night to acclimate ourselves to a new puppy was extended to a second over night and ultimately became to be a welcoming to a new member of our home. Last year my eldest son was looking after his professor’s dog and over the course of the year it seemed as though the dog spent as much time at our home as he did with my son. That dog was smart, gentle, and well behaved. Did I mention that she was a staffie? We feel in love with the breed. While perusing the web I came across local rescues for dogs and when given the option to search for a breed I found myself choosing an American Pit Bull Terrier. We spotted a blue brindle on Shirley Moore’s, Save a Dog web site – However, the dog was in a foster home sponsored PittieLove Rescue and we were then referred to Noreen. So, my husband and I set out to meet a couple of adoptees. We didn't connect with the dog we originally went to see and almost left without meeting Chloe. She was so petite, a bit shy, but engaging and had the most beautiful markings that I had ever seen. Like all new parent’s we weren't sure if we were ready to take on the task of raising a new puppy. Noreen was accommodating in letting us take Chloe into our home for a trial weekend. The rest is history. We just love her. She has settled in nicely – we just adore her and in return, she supplies us with an endless supply of puppy love. We just love our little “pittie” girl, Chloe
