Oh where can I begin? I had spent the winter in pain. I could not drive or go out on my own, just really in a bad way. I don't know what drove me to look online for a dog but I can tell you that it absolutely changed my life. I was searching all over the place for something, not sure exactly what but I knew I needed something to help me, and while;I was at it... maybe..... I could help someone else. I happened upon Cheeka on PittieLove Rescue's web site and just knew that she was what I was looking for. She is such a sweet and gentle soul. She has added so much love to our lives. We fell in love with her on July 3, 2006. For me, she brought so much life into my days, and for my husband, she became his work buddy. He drives a truck for a living and decided to take Cheeka in the truck with him to see how she liked it. Well she LOVED it and she gets very upset with him if she can't go now!! She mostly sits on the floor between the seats or lays down in bed in the back but the minute he hits the brake she jumps up in the passenger seat and has GOT to see where they are going to stop. All the people at the stops have treats for her and are very disappointed when she is not there with him. She gets out and walks around the guard booths and makes friends every where she goes. Of course on these days I miss her dearly but when she comes home to me she gives me the best bully kisses and shows such love that its worth it to get the big love when she comes home. Cheeka has given us so much just by being here with us and we feel that we have given her a good life too. It was one of the best decisions we have ever made. With bully kisses!!!
