Hi Noreen,
Bubba is doing fabulous! He is adjusting well and makes himself quite comfortable in anyone's lap. The first night he slept with Neal and I, the last two nights with Barry. He loves to cuddle! I love how he jumps and plays and can then calm right down and snuggle. Next week I will be looking into obedience training.
I will get you a new picture as soon as I can - I don't have a digital camera right now.
Thanks so much for allowing us to adopt Bubba - he is truly a joy and we love him very much!
-Gail, Neal, Barry, Alex and Bubba
The two boxers belong to a lady named Michelle. She lives about 1/4 mile from our house. The larger one is Colby, a three year old female. The smaller is Brody, a big 'teen aged' male. Michelle got into the habit of bringing her dogs up the hill on leashes around 7:00AM. Soon Bubba realized the pattern and started pacing, barking and looking out the windows.
Next I gave Michelle my cell phone number. Now Bubba waits for the phone to ring. Of course every time my cell phone rings Bubba thinks his mates are just out side.
When I first got Bubba I keep him on a leash for all our walks. One day, returning from the mail box, he jumped up and grabbed the leash out of my hands. Once he had it in his mouth he held his head up high and absolutely pranced back to door. He was soooo proud to be in control.
