My name is Wheezy. I had very tough start to my life and I am only 10 months old. I was bought by a man from a breeder when I was only 4 weeks old. Too young to be away from my Mommy. This man was initially nice to me. Then things changed drastically. We were living in a car. If I did something bad like jump on the counter for food while at a friends home I was stuffed into a small cat carrier and left for days.
When my guardian angel found me, I was barely alive. I weighed only 20 lbs at 9 months of age. I had not been fed in a very, very long time.
My foster Mom has pictures of me when I was first rescued. They are not for the faint of heart. :(
Off to the vet my savior took me. While my diagnosis was"emaciated" I hold no grudges to anyone. I had to be strong for this kind woman who saved me. I was not going to die. I was going to survive.
I am getting much better and weigh 39 lbs pounds now. Still on the thin side but I am improving on a daily basis.
My foster Mom wants to keep me but she has cancer and does not have the strength to care for me on a long term basis. I live with three other dogs and kids. I love them all. Oh and the kitties...I like to chase them so I would be happier in a home without cats. :)
