Our Tasha..another sad story.. She was living with a family with young children and doing wonderfully until her "so called family" decided they wanted a puppy and no longer wanted Tasha. They felt that the puppy would require so much care, that they just decided to dump Tasha at a shelter. A young man heard of her fate and was not going to that happen. He knew her chances of getting into a no kill shelter and being placed were slim to none. Not for this loving girl!! No way! So he got in touch with our rescue.
He was kind enough to offer Tasha a temporary foster home until we can find her a forever home. She is one special girl who holds no grudges despite being "dumped" literally... by the only family she knew.
Tasha is house trained, walks well on leash and knows many commands. Sit, paw, speak and our favorite "sit pretty". A super nice girl with a medium energy level who would excel in any home with children and another dog alike.
